Where are you located?
I live in Wichita, KS. I will travel to surrounding areas located within 30 minutes.
Do you have a studio?
Yes! My natural light studio is located in West Wichita.
What do you photograph?
I am a lifestyle photographer specializing in family, newborn, maternity and milestone sessions. At this time, I do not shoot engagements, weddings, seniors, events or extended families.
When do you schedule sessions?
Outdoor: Outdoor sessions are scheduled 1-2 hours before sunset which will vary depending on the season. I only shoot outdoors during that beautiful gold hour light.
Indoor: Studio sessions, including newborn, will be scheduled between 10am and 2pm, when lighting is best in the studio and on designated weekdays only. Limited weekend times may be available.
When and how will I receive my photos?
You will receive your photos within roughly 4 weeks. During busy season that time may be extended to 4-6 weeks. I will deliver your photos via a personal online gallery where you can download them directly to your computer and print and share as you wish. You will also have access to premium quality online printing directly from your gallery. (print release is always included)
What should I wear to my session?
I cannot stress enough how important styling is when it comes to your session! It really can make or break it! But don’t stress! When you book a session with me, you will have access to an online styling platform called Style and Select where you can browse tons of outfit ideas for everyone in the family, along with links to purchase the clothing if you choose. I am more than happy to assist in any way that I can- I’d love to help you find the perfect selection. I also have an ever-growing Client Closet full of beautiful dresses for mamas, maternity dresses and children’s clothing. If you prefer to borrow instead of buy, I’ve gotcha covered! Access to my Client Closet is included in the price of each session.
What can I expect during my session?
No matter which kind of session you choose, you can expect a very laid back, fun experience. I am not a traditional photographer and I will not force you to stare into the camera and smile. In fact, I’d really prefer you don’t even look at me the majority of your session. My goal is to create a stress free environment where kids can be kids and families can focus on the love between them. Whether it’s an adventurous family session or an intimate newborn session, I will gently prompt and guide you through the entire process. I have lots of tricks to evoke real and raw emotion and THAT is what I intend to showcase.
